There was drama at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe as Red Arrows protested and walk out of the pitch for what they deemed an Idriss Mbombo offside goal.
In Southern Province, Kabwe Warriors were swallowed by New Monze Swallows while Zanaco survived a late scare from Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy.
Nkana 3-2 Red Arrows (Idriss Mbombo 15′, 90, Freddy Tshimenga 44′ | Joseph Phiri 56′, 82′)
Joseph Phiri’s brace helped Red Arrows come two goals down to 2 all.
This was after Congolese duo Idriss Mbombo and Freddy Tshimenga had given Nkana a 2 nil lead.
But the Kaunda Square born and bred 21 year banged in two goals before Mbombo’s injury time goal.
The match was abandoned with a minute to go.
Zanaco FC 2-1 Kabwe Youth S.A (Rodger Kola 12′, Ernest Mbewe 23′ | Sililo 74′)
Rodger Kola returned to the local league with a goal thanks to a Taonga Bwembya assist.
Kola could grabbed a brace but saw his header saved by Namayoyo.
Ernest Mbewe increased the tally before Sililo pulled one back.
