Veteran Chipolopolo goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene says collection of maximum points is what Zambia will focuss on in this afternoon’s game against Tunisia.
Mweene is confident Zambia can win the match if they are focussed and determined. He says being the oldest player on the field he will try and encourage the young ones to stay resolute throughout the match
“It’s a must win affair as such there should be no excuses. We shall try our level best to make sure we get to the quater finals” said the South African based keeper.
And Skipper, Rainford Kalaba says a positive attitude and a must win mentality will make the difference in today’s game.
“Everyone knows what is at stake. This game will surely determine our stay at these finals. It’s a must win and we will do it for Zambia. Every game is hard but we have to be harder” said the celebrated midfield genius
England based striker Emmanuel Mayuka is not bothered about historical data between the two countries. He says what will matter is action on the pitch.
“History will not help anyone” he told Fazfootball in Ebebiyin this morning.
Davies Nkausu was more on the religious side when asked about today’s, match saying he believes in his God and all will be well for Zambia.
Team Doctor Joseph Kabungo has declared a clean bill of health for the team.

Thank you Ba Paradox and Ba Muliaokelaa for the education. BUT hey Ba Gyan is not an ordinary player so you have to give respect where it is due. Ba former Captain of Chipolopolo Chris Katongo. I will always pick him ahead of Kalu just because of his commitment to the national team

Go boys go. Do it for mother Zambia. Forget what is happening back home. It is well.
kalaba is finished.he himself needs encouragement…the guy has lost the fighting spirit.the die 4 mother zambia spirit of kalu, tana,ck 11…mweene…the guy doesnt show urgency…he shud know tht sometyms as captain u mst go solo with a moment of individual brilliance 2 win yo team a game…go deep, collect the ball and run thru the opponents…u may nt score bt the effort 2 show intentent mst be seen.the individual brilliance of kalu scoring set pieces, mweene saves penalties,ck fights and scores.those re the attributes of a captain.,nt being copletely silent lyk we saw against DRC…Kalaba shud up his game if the team is enjoy the fluidity of our natural zambian game we re known for.
Goodluk guys and pliz ba coach 2 holding midfielders. We have to win this game as a motivation 4 da last game. Tunisia is a shadow of its old self so let’s break the jinx. Zam 4-1 Tun….epologilamu.
