Kenyan striker Jesse Jackson Were started his life at Kansanshi Dynamos the best way he knows how scoring from the spot but his goal was not enough as Abraham Siankombo and Moses Phiri ensured maximum points for the Bankers.
The MTN Super League entered the second round of action this afternoon with a double taking centre stage at Sunset Stadium.
The second match of the day saw the Bankers squaring off with the Mabanga Boys.
Coach Tennant Chilimba named Kenyan talisman Jesse Jackson Were in his starting line up as he started upfront alongside Victor Mubanga and Bruce Musakanya.
It was however the hosts who opened the scores in the 19th minute thanks to a goal by Abraham Siankombo. In the second half Jesse Were leveled matters from the spot.

Zanaco captain Moses Phiri however had other ideas as he netted the winner in the 71st minute to seal a hard fought win and make sure the Bankers maintain their unbeaten run against Kansanshi.
The win temporarily takes the Bankers into 9th place with 25 points while the Mabanga Boys remain in 13th place.
Lusaka Dynamos 1-1 Green Buffaloes
In the earlier match, Friday Samu maintained his Friday scoring ritual as he rescued a point for Green Buffaloes away to Lusaka Dynamos.
Midfielder Kangwa Sinyangwe put Elite in the lead just eight minutes into the match and it seemed like it would take the Manchu Janza coached side to victory only for Samu to level matters from the spot in the dying minutes.
The draw means, Green Buffaloes stay top and open a one point lead while Elite remains stuck in 16th place with 16 points.
