Former Zambia defender Hichani ‘HH’ Himoonde has joined City of Lusaka technical bench.
The AFCON winning defender has been spotted at Woodlands Stadium assisting head coach Albert ‘Fega’ Mphande ahead of the 2022/23 Eden University National First Division, NFD.
Himoonde was part of Herve Renard’s all conquering Zambia squad which won the CAF 2012 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
He formed one of the best defensive partnership with Stopilla Sunzu between 2011 and 2014.
HH featured in all the matches at the 2012 and 2013 African Cup of Nations.
He also has under-20 and under-23 caps. Played at the Algiers 2007 All Africa games.

A product of Chiparamba Youth Academy, the 35 year old made rose to stardom at Lusaka Dynamos.
He had unsuccessful spells at Sundowns and TP Mazembe.
In Zambia, he also featured for Zesco United and Power Dynamos.
