Zesco united football club caretaker coach Tenant Chembo says the future is now for him to take over the club’s top job.
Chembo said this upon arrival from Ivory Coast at Kenneth Kaunda international airport in
Lusaka where his team beat Asec Mimosa by two goals to one to qualify to the group stage of the CAF champions league.
It is with this background that Chembo says he is ready for the challenge.
Zesco United have been linked with a possible return for George Lwandamina.
Chembo has since appealed to the club executive to consider him for the coaching job at Zesco United.
And FAZ committee member Kabaso Kapambwe who was delegation leader has assured the nation that Zesco can win the CAF champions league if the team continues to perform the way they did in Ivory Coast against Asec Mimosa.

Give him a chance, after all Lwandamina’s team is not doing well so i feel better deal with Mr Chembo. He has been at the club for sometime and knows the capabilities of the team.
Ba Kabaso Kapambwe its good to be optimistic but remember the old adage, “one sparrow does not make a summer”.
Its these sort of comments that easily get to players heads making them complacent. So be careful with them.
Chembo naena talks too much, might even annoy hiring boss.
