Daka late sub for Leicester while Mwepu, Sakaka are unused

The English Premier League took centre stage with midweek matches across the the United Kingdom.

There was some Zambian interest in London and the South Coast.

Zambia forward Patson Daka played the last 15 minutes for Leicester City against Southampton.

Daka replaced Barnes in the 75th minute with the scores already at 2-2 between his club Leicester City and Southampton.

The match ended 2-2.

Daka has one league goal in 5 substitute league appearances.

While he is yet to make an impact in the league, the 23 year old striker has impressed in the Europa League with a return of five goals.

Elsewhere in England, Brighton made a trip to London against high flying West Ham

The two sides played out to a 1-1 draw.

Zambian midfielder Enock Mwepu was unused substitute. He has just recently returned from a layoff.

Mwepu has 1 league goal as he continues to bid his time for action.

Both Brighton and Leicester City have 19 points and are 7th and 8th respectively.

In Scotland, Fashion Sakala watched from the bench as Rangers recorded 1-0 away win over Hibernian.

The 24 year old Zambian forward has already scored five goals for Rangers this season.
