Copper Queens head coach Nora Hauptle says the team is fully committed to securing qualification for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Hauptle emphasized that the players understand the stakes as they prepare to face Namibia in the final round of qualifiers.
Speaking during a training session in Lusaka today, she acknowledged the challenge ahead but expressed confidence, recalling her previous success in eliminating Namibia while coaching the Ghanaian Women’s teaman achievement she aims to replicate with Zambia.
Meanwhile, Copper Queens Captain Barbra Banda, who visited the team during training this morning, voiced her confidence in the squad’s ability to qualify for the tournament.
