Zambian midfield ace Clatous Chota Chama scored a brace and set up the fourth goal as Simba SC humiliated Biashara United 4-0 in their Tanzania Vodacom Ligi Kuu matchday 2 encounter.
Former Chipolopolo boss Sven Vandenbroeck gave Larry Bwalya his first start for Simba SC as he started in midfield. Clatous Chota Chama also retained his place in the team while former Lusaka Dynamos captain Chris Mushimba Mugalu made the matchday squad as he made the bench for the first time since joining the Tanzanian side last month.
Simba took the lead in the 10th minute after Luis José Miquissone squared the ball to Clatous Chama for a close-range finish inside the box. Miquissone and Chama combined again in the 25th minute as the Zambia midfielder beat a defender with a cool move before slotting home to grab his brace, 2-0.
Last season’s top goalscorer Meddie Kagere made it 3-0 six minutes into the second half again Miquissone the provider. Second-half substitute Chris Mugalu completed the 4-0 mauling of Biashara United after being set up by Chama with a brilliant backheel pass.
