Green Buffaloes captain Chilimba Moonga has been ruled out of action with an injury.
The veteran defender sustained a fracture on his left leg during the match against Zanaco and subsequently missed Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Red Arrows in the Military derby.
He was spotted in a plaster of paris cast during the match at Woodlands Stadium.
Moonga, has been a rock at the heart of the Buffaloes defence.
Until his injury, he featured in all the league matches since the start of the 2020/2021 season.
With the former Kabwe Warriors defender out, former Kasama Boys secondary School pupil, Fredrick Mwimanzi will hope to take his chance.
The highly rated centre back started against Arrows.
Buffaloes are currently fifth on the log and will face Warriors this weekend.
