Zesco’s opponents in the last game of the first leg of the CAF champions league Asec Mimosas of Ivory coast have arrived in Ndola ahead of the match.
And Mimosas coach Traore Siaka says although Zesco is a good team,he has come here to collect maximum points.
I know Zesco is a good team because i have watched them play and i must say they have are very strong team with good players, however we are here to collect maximum points and not to visit.I know it wont be an easy game because they are coming from a loss to Wydad, the team that beat us at home and so they are wounded and we promise they will not have a easy game
The Kenyan Airways flight carrying the Ivorians touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 13:38 hours
The seemingly youthful side beat Al Ahly 2-1 in the second game of the group stage in Egypt the same day Zesco lost 2-0 to Wydad Athletic .
Siaka said the group is not an easy one but says his team stands a good chance to finish at the top of the group.
Zesco and Asec are both on three points in the group led by Wydad who have six points while on the bottom with no point are the group favourites Al Ahly.
is it true that adriss mbombo and arron katebe are in Sweden for trials
Zesco need to win this game to be on a safe side.Go zesco go
Zesco we are behind you.
I have been a big supporter of the site but I should say, the stretch between updates and stories is getting to be a bit much these days. Its beginning to feel like to get a worthwhile story you should only log onto the site once a week. I understand this is part time but still…..
Cant wait to watch this game. If they can win again at home they will certainly be on course for the semi’s.
Am told the next time will see another update on this site is mid next month.
Zamfoot needs financial support and man power. Remember the guys at Zamfoot do this for the love of the game. They don’t reap any financial gain. Can’t blame them when they the switch off.
I don’t agree with you one bit. You do not go into an industry or venture half baked. They knew what they were going into when they first started. If they lack human and financial resources why start a project that requires them in the first place? If you’re not ready to run a site don’t start period. Or else risk losing face, reliability and reputation. Don’t make lame excuses on their behalf.
thats right
This is what happens when you don’t have a vision when starting something. You don’t start a project if you know you don’t have adequate human or financial resources.
Whatever reasons they have lost face, reliability and
reputation. Please stop making excuses for them. The site has been around for a number of years now and it’s not hard to see that they are half baked and ill-equipped to run as a football site.
Admittedly they’ve got good intentions as a fans’ football site but but the reality is that they came on the scene very prematurely. Like many soccer fans I liked the idea of having a football site where fans interact but let’s face it, if this site is going to meet the fans’ needs and demands it needs to shut down for a while, get organised, and sort themselves out and in terms of what to cover and how to cover it. They should do some consultative research on the marketing the site to generate funds. We have enough problems with our Chipolopolo and the last thing we need is a site where updates are as seasonal as Christmas.
Unedited. Sorry.
All you people, just be thankful that you have atleast a site that give you some news of football when they can.
All the best to Zega. Win all your home games and get a draw or win on the road then you home and dry. Semi-Finals calling.
Katebe iz on club hunting . He is young and talented let him find somewhere to show case his talent..
zamfoot admin. am sure the chibuku u drunk did u bad, two weeks without any update
ZAMFOOT IS NOW BORRING AND IM JUST WONDERING WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM.
Zambia is now ranked 88 in the new fifa ranking. The effects of having a poor local league, poor local coach. I hope Kamanga is fixing that league as it is in pathetic state currently.
Asec won in egypt but were outclased here they re loosing they were here they lost
Am sure there no stories to write bcoz even the chipolopolo coach interviews it was writen two weeks ago and tha next week is not yet here i wonder & still wondering;(8-),
Ba Zamfoot, I think it is impolite and downrite rude to ignore genuine concerns being raised by bloggers about updates. It would be appropriate to issue a statement to your loyal bloggers, some of who have been here since inception. To keep quiet gives an impression of arrogance and not giving a sh….t about our concerns !
