Zesco United set to announce the signing of a marque signing
Zambian Super League leaders Zesco United are set to announce the signing of a top Zambian striker, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
The Zambian striker will be unveiled at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola before the end of the week after the TMS is acquired from his previous club.
The Ndola based club are believed to have snatched the striker off under the noses of rivals Zanaco.
“Yes it’s true that the striker was training with Zanaco but Zesco moved quickly to sign,” a ZamFoot Crew source in Ndola has revealed.
The striker is believed to have been offered a 2 year deal.
The return of CAF Champions League to Ndola is one of the reasons why the 26 year old striker has joined Zega.
Since the departure of Lazarous Kambole in 2019 to Kaizer Chiefs, Zesco United strikers have struggled in front of goal.
