Zambian players Jack Lahne Kalichi, Clatous Chota Chama and Bonapheseo Phiri were all among the goals on Thursday, enjoying productive outings for their respective clubs across Europe and Africa.

In Austria, Jack Lahne Kalichi struck the opener as SC Austria Lustenau secured a 2-1 home victory over SKU Amstetten to seal the ADMIRAL 2nd League title and confirm a return to the Austrian Bundesliga.

Lahne, who opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a composed low finish, set the tone for a dominant display from the newly crowned champions.

In Denmark, Zambian forward Edward Chilufya was an unused substitute as FC Midtjylland edged FC Copenhagen 1-0 to lift the Danish Landspokal Cup.

In Georgia, Bonapheseo Phiri added to his seasonal tally with his third goal of the campaign, helping Locomotive Tbilisi secure a 1-1 draw with Gardabani.

Meanwhile in Tanzania, Clatous Chota Chama continued his rich vein of form with a superb brace as Simba SC swept aside Mashujaa FC 3-0 in the Mainland Premier League.

The 34-year-old, widely known as “Triple C”, has now registered eight goals and four assists this season, directly contributing to 12 league goals for Simba. He has also scored or assisted in each of his side’s last six matches, underlining his growing influence in the title race.
