Zambia National Team head coach Avram Grant has made three changes to the team that suffered a 1-0 loss to Egypt last Thursday. 

Grant was forced into a change in midfield as Kapumbu suffered a strain of the hamstring muscle in Zambia’s 1-0 loss to Egypt.  

Czech Republic based youngster Golden Mafwenta comes in to replace Kapumbu. 

Prison Leopards right back Zephaniah Phiri also comes in to replace Benedict Chepeshi. 

Upfront, Lubambo Musonda drops to the bench as Edward Chilufya starts alongside Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka. 

Meanwhile, Cranes boss Morley Byekwaso has made two changes from the team that started against Mali.

Elvis Bwomono starts at right back with Kenneth Semakula moving to central defence to replace injured Halidi Lwaliwa.

Ibrahim Juma replaces Rogers Mugisha on the left wing.

Uganda is using the match to prepare ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers that begin next month.

The Cranes are in Group G alongside Algeria, Guinea, Mozambique, Botswana and Somalia. They will start their campaign with two clashes in Guinea and Somalia.

Zambia, on the other side, is preparing for the World Cup qualifiers against Congo and Niger. They are in Pool E with the  two nations, Morocco, Tanzania, Niger and Eritrea.

Besides, they will use the match to fine-tune for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Group F fixtures against DR Congo, Morocco and Tanzania.

Kick off is set at 19h00 local time and  17h00 CAT at the Hamriya Stadium in Sharjah, Dubai.
