Zambia is a big team- Niger coach
Niger national football team held 2012 AFCON winners, Zambia to a one-all draw in an International Friendly match played at the Stade General Seyin Kaunlche in Niamey, Niger on Thursday afternoon.
Niger head coach Cheik Omase Diabate after the match heaped praise on the Copper Bullets saying they were are a big side.
“Zambia has a good team, they are a big team and just need to work a little more but they are very patient in their play,” he said.
“We are building a team for the near future and this friendly has helped us a lot, togetherness, and composure is our main aim for the team,” he added.
Zambia took the lead in the 70th minute through Clatous Chota Chama before veteran Moussa Mazzou could level matter in the dying minutes to make sure the two sides shared the spoils.
The Chipolopolo boys will conclude their tour of West Africa with a tricky encounter against Benin on Sunday.
