Young Buffaloes, ZNS Luamfumu, Quattro, and Jumulu qualify for National Division One
The FAZ/Eden University National Division One playoffs finally came to end this afternoon with Lusaka Provincial Division One winners Young Green Buffaloes and ZNS Luamfumu of Luapula Province taking the last two slots of promotion.
Young Buffaloes thrashed Eastern Province outfit Sinda United 4-0 thanks to a brace from Michael Musonda and a goal each from Paul Chellah and Lucky Bwalya.
The win means Young Buffaloes finish on top of group B with eight points.
ZNS Luamfumu also cruised to a 3-0 win over Northern Province representatives, Malalo Police to finish second with eight points and seal a place in the National Division One.
Paul Malama scored a brace while Katala Mubemba chipped in with a goal for the Luapula Province Champions.
In Group A, Copperbelt side, Jumulo coached by former NAPSA Stars head coach Linos Makwaza snr finished top of the group with 10 points while North Western Province side Quattro Kalumbila finished second with seven points to seal their places in the National Division One.
The playoffs were marred with controversy as most teams were found guilty of cheating by using players that were ineligible to play in the games.
