We will not ride on the past – Lwandamina

Zambia Super League reigning Champions, Zesco United will begin their 2019/20 CAF Champions League group stage matches with a tricky away encounter against Primeiro de Agusto of Angola tomorrow.

Speaking to the ZamFoot Crew ahead of this Saturday’s mouth-watering encounter, George Lwandamina expressed confidence in his players.

“So far so good, the response has been overwhelming every Jim and jack is putting in there best,” he said.

The last time the two sides met, Agusto collected 4 points off the Zambian giants but Lwandamina is not worried about the past as he is focusing on the future.

“Football, sometimes you do not ride in the past, we watched the game and we saw our mistakes which we have corrected. This weekend’s game will be great because my players are really looking forward to enjoying this game,” he said.

The Zesco United Head Coach also expressed confidence that his players will adapt to the climate easily and will not take it as an excuse.
