Copper Queens forward Fridah Mukoma scored a brace over the weekend to lead Beijing to a 2-0 win over Shandong.
The double means the former ZESCO Ndola Girls speedy winger is now topping the scoring charts with 5 goals in four games.
Mukoma joined NWSL’s Kansas City Current on a four-year contract from ZESCO last month.
Mukoma became only the fifth Zambian player to be signed by a club in the NWSL, joining Orlando Pride’s trio of Barbra Banda, Grace Chanda, and Prisca Chilufya, as well as Bay FC’s Racheal Kundananji.
However, she was immediately loaned to Beijing Jingtan FC where she will spend the rest of the 2025 season before moving to the United States.
