Transfer Deadline Day: More last-minute deals as Lubinda returns to Mazabuka

The Zambia Super League mid-season transfer window came to a close at midnight and the last day was a busy one.

The ZamFoot Crew takes you through some of the deals you might have missed on the final day.

Mwimanzi and Mumbi Join Warriors

Kabwe Warriors have signed defender Frederick Mwimanzi from Lumwana Radiants.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of defender Fredrick Mwimwanzi who joins the club from Lumwana Radiants.”

The club also confirmed the acquisition of Chengo Mumbi from the lower tier side Kabwe Rangers.

“Help us welcome left-back Chengo Mumbi who joins the blue family from Kabwe Rangers.”

ALIDOR LEAVES BUILDCON

Congolese striker Alidor Kayembe sealed a move to Red Arrows on deadline day. The 22-year old DR Congo U-23 international joins the Airmen from Team Kopala, Buildcon.

Alidor scored 13 goals for FC Saint Eloi Lupopo of Lubumbashi in the DR Congo Vodacom League before attending unsuccessful trials in Turkey and Tunisia.

Alidor Joined Team Kopala at the start of the new 2019/2020 season.

LUBINDA LOANED TO NAKAMBALA

ZamFoot Crew, Mazabuka correspondent, Chrisen Chimwaya reports that former Tanzanian based attacking midfielder, Lubinda Mundia has joined Nakambala Leopards on loan from Red Arrows.

Lubinda is actually making a return to his former club years after leaving the Sweet Boys. He has even been named in the team that faces Green Eagles in a Southern derby this afternoon.
