Tenant Chilumba has joined Zesco United on a 3 year deal, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Chilumba has left his job as Nkwazi head coach with immediate effect a month after he signed for the Zambia Police outfit.
The former Zambia midfielder will be George Lwandamina’s first assistant at the nine times Zambian Champions.
“Yes, it’s true TC is joining Zesco United. The club will make an announcement soon,” a ZamFoot Crew source added.
This will be the third signing for the Ndola giants following the appointment of Lwandamina.
Former Chipolopolo coach Honor Janza was also handed a 3 year deal as the club’s new Technical Director.
Chilumba has coached Napsa Stars, Power Dynamos, Kansanshi Dynamos and his boyhood club Kabwe Warriors.
He also had successful spells in Zimbabwe.
Before he retired, Chilumba was part of the Zambia side which reached the African Cup of Nations final in 1994.
These are type of coaches who don’t want to be blemed for there failures, they want the blem to be put on other people. How can he dump nkwazi has a head coach and join another team has an assistant? He is a failure.
