Team work is in Fashion

Zambia U23 national team striker Fashion Sakala refused to take the limelight ahead of tomorrow’s Egypt U23 AFCON qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.

The Belgium based forward believes the ‘Bola na Lesa’ Boys have a good team and he is confident they will carry the day.

“To be honest there is nothing to promise, We just have to do work as a team. We going there to do it as a team, Am not going there as an individual. There is nothing I can promise my fans but there is nothing I can promise my fans I think it’s just a matter of doing it together as a team and is really sure we have a good team, I think we can do it. The only promise I can make is about the win and nothing more, ” he said.

Congo Brazzaville trainer Jean Elie Ngoya singled out the former Zanaco Forward as the most dangerous player in the team but Fashion played it down saying he will not be playing along but playing in a team which he believes is a very good side and he is hoping for a win.

“As a player, it’s about delivering there is nothing like having pressure. I just have to concentrate on what I do. I respect his opinion and his team. I don’t really follow their players but I think they have a good team to reach this stage it is not easy. Am not going there alone, We are going there as a team and we have a very good team we going to fight together and hoping for a win together and not as an individual,” Fashion told the ZamFoot Crew.

“No, to be honest, there is no pressure, I think it’s just time to for us to deliver. I really trust our team and we really have a good team. Everyone is working hard and we believe in God. I believe God is going to do it for us, ” he added.

Zambia will play the first leg at home on September 4th at Heroes Stadium while the return leg will be in Pointe Noire on September 8. The tickets for the September 4 tie are already on sale via Computicket in all Shoprite outlets with VIP pegged at K250, WEST at K100 while the rest of the Stadium is going at K20.

The winner over two legs will qualify to the 2019 AFCON that will be hosted by Egypt in November. The top three teams at the tournament will qualify to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

    ZNBC ?

What’s the plan for those who want to screem in front of the T.V because they cannot make it to Heroes disaster stadium?

I wish it was televised but, it’s either there are no sponsors or ZESCO will be working hard in the enforcement of load sharing.

ZNBC!!! ZNBC is only there to spew govt propaganda these days. They don’t care much about things like this. If Lusambo suddenly became a footballer then for sure the game would have been televised…..lol
