Tanzania 🇹🇿: Chipolopolo striker gets a guard of honour from teammates

Young Africans players gave striker Kennedy Musonda a guard of honour following his performance on international duty.

Compatriot Clatous Chama also got one.

Musonda’s exploits for Zambia has not gone unnoticed across the continent.

The 29 year old stepped up in Patson Daka’s absence to lead the Chipolopolo attack.

Musonda scored a goal each against African Champions Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone to end the campaign with 4 goals and an assist.

The former Power Dynamos and Green Eagles striker was the third best top scorer in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Morocco’s Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz and Serhou Guirassy of Ivory Coast finished the qualifiers with 7 and 6 goals respectively.

The Copper Bullets and Ivory Coast qualified from Group G.

The tournament will run from December 21, 2025 and end in January 2026.
