Jonas Sakuwaha registered for CAF games

Zambia international striker Jonas Sakuwaha will be available for selection when TP Mazembe play Young Africans of Tanzania in the CAF Confederations Cup after CAF confirmed his registration for the CAF games.

The 32 year old player had injury issues and was not registered for Africa for the first part of the CAF competitions.

Sakuwaha who is an experienced campaigner in Africa having played in the champions league for Zesco United and Sudanese side El Merreikh is expected to add to the fire power of the reigning African champions.

Mazembe’s next game is away against Obrey Chirwa’s Yanga on 28th June, 2016.

Sakuwaha was loaned to Zesco United last season but he is back in the Mazembe fold and will be hoping for a good run the Confederations Cup.

He joins fellow Zambian players Given Singuluma, Jonas Sakuwaha, Kabaso Chongo, Rainford Kalaba and Nathan Sinkala on the list of Mazembe players available for selection in Africa.
