SAKALA ON TARGET FOR STRUGGLING KVO

FT| KV Oostende 2-4 Genk

Zambian forward Fashion Sakala on Saturday scored the opening goal for KV Oostende who were then reduced to 10-men before suffering a 4-2 home defeat to giants KRC Genk.

Sakala broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute before teammate Verstraete got sent off two minutes later for a second caution.

The Chipolopolo winger has enjoyed regular game time for the Belgian side scoring 8-goals and providing 2-assists in 28-appearances so far. This means the former Zanaco FC forward has only missed one match for KV Oostende this season.

KV Oostende is, however, facing potential relegation as they now sit second from the bottom table with a final round of matches left, before playoffs.
