Progress Sports Club head coach Josphat Maimisa graduates with a BA degree of Education
Progress Sports Club proprietor and Coach Josphat Maimisa has graduated with his second-degree program in Physical Education and History (BA Education-Degree) at Rockview University were he did his program from 2016 – 2019.
Mr. Maimisa who is also a Physical Education and Sports teacher at Mt. Makulu Secondary School did his Bachelor of Arts with Theology(BA Theology Degree) at Rusangu University from 2011 – 2015.
Mt. Makulu Secondary School is a home of a number of girls from Progress Sports Club which includes the likes of Zambia Women’s Under-20 Defender Bertha Imponene who was awarded a scholarship by the school headteacher Mr. Kenneth Muleya together with Justina Zulu, Mary Siamukande, others are
Pamela Lubinda is a senior prefect, Rosemary Chifita, Esther Kahyata, and Tionge Sambo among others.
Mr. Maimisa has been at the forefront helping to shape up young boys and girls with education and skills development through sports both at the school and the club.
Progress Sports Club which is located in Chilanga ensures that life skills education is offered to boost the girls’ behavioral immune system for productive living beyond barriers of life.
Mt. Makulu and Linda Communities are the main targets for The club which promotes healthy living and life skills to curb teenage pregnancy, early marriages, alcohol, and drug abuse; as well as enhancing academic excellence through netball and football for both boys and girls.
Coach Maimisa graduated together with Coach Cheelo.
