Patson Daka, Enock Mwepu in flying start at Liefering in Austria

Zambia’s teenage exports to Austria Enock ‘Computer’ Mwepu and Patson Daka have opened their pre-season on a high when they played in the opening game for Liefering helping their team to a 2 – 1 win over the Germany U19 team.

Daka was on target in the game while Mwepu was involved in the build up to the goal.

The 19 year old Computer sealed a five year deal with Salzburg this month to join up with national team buddy at rhe UEFA Youth League champions.

Salzburg has loaned both players to their feeder club FC Liefering who play in Austria’s second tier.

“Today we played against the Germany U19 in a friendly and beat them by 2 goals to 1. I was involved in the build up to one of the goals,” Mwepu said in reference to the game.

Patson remarked that he was excited to scored in the first game of the season and commended his Mwepu for a good performance.

One important key to success is self-confidence and an important key to self-confidence is preparation.

“First game, first goal and awesome victory. Way to start preparations for the new challenge,” Daka said.

The two are fresh from helping Zambia to a quarter final berth at the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup and played a pivotal role when Zambia beat Germany 4-3 to reach the last eight.

Thet are expected to play pivotal role for Liefering in the 2017 / 2018 season.
