Official: Jacob Ngulube joins Napsa Stars

Zambia Super League side Napsa Stars has confirmed the acquisition of former Nkana midfielder Jacob Ngulube who becomes their second signing following the arrival of Kenyan talisman Timothy ‘Big Tim’ Otieno.

The Pensioners confirmed the development in a post on their social media pages monitored by the ZamFoot Crew. Ngulube has penned a three-year permanent deal.

“NAPSA Stars Football Club has completed the transfer of attacking midfielder Jacob Ngulube from Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club ahead of the 2020/21 season. The 25-year-old energetic and versatile Ngulube has penned a three-year permanent deal with the CAF Confederation Cup debutants subject to completion of his medicals.”

Ngulube spent last season at Kansanshi Dynamis but the Mabanga Boys were relegated to National Division One. Ngulube played for Nkana between 2016 and 2016 after a dramatic transfer from Damiano  Academy with Mufulira Wanderers claiming he was their player.

Meanwhile, the club has also confirmed that they have parted ways with former Konkola Blades striker Mathews Maleka who joined the club at the start of the 2017 season, and Congolese striker, Mambote Assis who was signed before the start of the 2019/2020 season.

Napsa are preparing for the new season and their maiden appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing in the top four.
