Niger v Zambia Build Up: Grant might not tinker

Zambia will face Niger on match day 2 of the FIFA 2026 World Cup qualifier at Morocco’s Stade de Marrakech on Tuesday.

Zambia coach Avram Grant is expected stick with same line up which started against Congo on Friday.

Although there are calls to start with Lawrence Mulenga, Grant is likely to maintain Francis Mwansa in goal..

The back will pick itself with Stopilla Sunzu and Dominic Chanda in central defence while Benedict Chepeshi and Rodrick Kabwe as right and left backs respectively.

In midfield, Emmanuel Banda and Kings Kangwa are guaranteed of starting while Benson Sakala’s unconvincing performance against Congo could keep him out of the team.

Grant might decide to pick either Rally Bwalya or Golden Mafweta should he axe Sakala.

The trio Fashion Sakala, Patson Daka and Lameck Banda will lead the attack.

Niger suffered a narrow defeat to Tanzania on Saturday.

Zambia Probable XI: Francis Mwansa – Benedict Chepeshi, Stopilla Sunzu, Dominic Chanda, Rodrick Kabwe – Benson Sakala, Kings Kangwa, Emmanuel Banda – Fashion Sakala, Patson Daka, Lameck Banda
