National League side Nchanga Rangers have started their own kit brand, Bravo Brand, the club has announced.
The Bravo Brand has been launched in all three colours, which are the traditional yellow and blue, white and blue and blue and white jerseys.
Replicas for the three colours will go on sale at K550 per jersey starting on 22nd February 2024.
“Nchanga Rangers Football Club president Shapi Shachinda today announced the launch of the Club’s own brand for team kit, the Bravo brand, as the Club entrenches its vision of turning Nchanga Stadium into a centre of football excellence.
The Bravo brand is derived from the maxim traditionally used by Nchanga Rangers supporters and the fan base across Zambia.”
Club President, Shapi Shachinda says the club has taken the initiative to start their own brand so that they can produce enough replicas for their fans.
“We have taken a shift in terms of what the team will be wearing by introducing our own brand, which enables us to produce replicas for our supporters and fans,” Shachinda, told players during the unveiling of the new jerseys at Nchanga stadium.
“We want our supporters to have something they can associate with the Club.”
“Our goal is to return to the Super Division and stay and begin to win trophies. We also seek to reinforce the foundation we are creating to make the Club great once again. In our plans to make Rangers great again, we will continue to dress our team in the best way possible in order to maintain this great brand name,” Shachinda added.
The Club president explained that there were limited stocks for the replicas, but the Club would make fresh orders and expected more replicas to arrive in the country within a few weeks.
“Our supporters who will not get replicas should bear with us because we had to make the first order under a tight schedule in January 2024 just before industry went on a one month break during the Chinese New Year, which starts on 1st February every year. As a result, the stock we brought in had to be airlifted via FedEx courier at great expense, which we have not even factored into the sale price,” Shachinda said.
The current Hummel kit, which the team wears, will be worn along with the new Bravo brand before it is phased out.
Nchanga currently lead the FAZ National Division One League with 45 points.
Some of these kits are quite appealing visually ,credit to the team and their advisors/ designers!
Better than some of the established brands (rhymes with Mike).
