Mutapa to take charge of U20 at COSAFA, Summons 42 for camp

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ ) has confirmed that under-17 Cosafa Cup-winning coach Oswald Mutapa Junior will be in charge of the Under-20 squad during the 2019 COSAFA U20 Championships.

FAZ confirmed the development in a post on their official Facebook page monitored by the ZamFoot Crew. The regional championship will be staged in Lusaka from December 4th to 14th.

Mutapa has since named a 42 member provisional squad. He has combined players from the last three U-17 COSAFA editions and blended them with new players.

The players are expected to enter camp this week to commence preparations in Lusaka. The team will be trimmed further after this week’s camp is the technical bench zeroes in the final squad.
