Mutapa, Power Dynamos separate on mutual consent

Zambia Super League side, Power Dynamos has part ways with head coach Perry Mutapa after reaching a mutual agreement.

The club confirmed the development in a statement posted on their social media platforms and made available to the ZamFoot Crew.

“Power Dynamos Football Club today announces an agreement to finalize its separation with head Coach Perry Mutapa effective immediately.

Mutapa and Power have agreed to go on mutual separation today, July 12, 2021, following an earlier decision taken on May 10, 2021, to place the head coach on administrative leave.”

Mutapa signed a 2-year contract with Power running between 26th November 2019 and was due to expire on 25th November 2021.

The Club has thanked the Zambia U-20 national team boss and wished him luck in his future endeavors.

“The Club thanks Mutapa for his professionalism prior to and after he was placed on administrative leave and wishes the coach well in his future endeavors.

Power Dynamos Football Club will now focus on strengthening its technical bench, player recruitment, and preparations for next season.”

The ZamFoot Crew understands that the former Orlando Pirates midfielder is on the radar of several Super League sides and will soon be announced as head coach at one of the clubs.

    Let him go. Power was in top four, but where are we now. Useless coach.

    Boi Perry as a coach you are a leader. Dont let personal differences prevent you from getting the best results because you are not in good terms with a player who can perform for you. This is a results driven industry and as such nangu chipuba chibomfye to get the desired results.
