Mothusi Cooper arrives in Lusaka to complete his move to Lusaka Dynamos
Botswana national team midfielder Mothusi Cooper has arrived in Lusaka to complete the formalities for his two year deal with Elite, Lusaka Dynamos.
Cooper has traveled to Lusaka with his agent Bakang Moipone to seal his deal from Township Rollers to the Zambia Super League.
Cooper and Lusaka Dynamos last month agreed to a two year deal with the Wedson Nyirenda tutored outfit having an option of a one-year extension.
Cooper is a full international for the Zebras of Botswana, having made his senior debut in 2019 and was an integral part of the squad which reached the 2019 COSAFA Cup final. He has starred in all games against Chipolopolo over the last 2 years making him a fan favorite on both sides of the Kazungula Bridge.
At club level, The Elite become the 23-year-old’s third club after being featured for Extension Gunners from 2017 before he joined Rollers the following year.
Botswana becomes the 19th nationality for a player signing for Lusaka Dynamos in the last 3 years after players from Brazil, Togo, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Congo Brazzaville, Congo DR, Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Brazil, Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Cameroun, and Burundi
