Moses Phiri and Saith Sakala back at Zanaco
Sensational Zanaco has confirmed the return of Saith Sakala and Moses Phiri at Sunset Stadium.
The duo left Zanaco in 2017 and 2015 respectively but returns home to reinforce Chris Kaunda’s squad. Sakala spent three-years away in the Middle-east while Phiri moved to Portugal before returning to join Buildcon.
The duo will be joined by Zimbabwean striker Evans Katema who has joined the Bankers from Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side Dynamos.
Zanaco head coach Chris Kaunda confirmed the development in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew on Sunday.
“We have registered some new players who have come in. We have Saith Sakala, Katema from Zimbabwe Dynamos and Moses Phiri. we have reinforced and probably a new international goalkeeper will come in,” he said.
Zanaco currently sits in 11th place with 25 points but has four games in hand.
