Congolese forward Idriss Mbombo has signed for Sudanes side Al Hilal for two years.
Mbombo spent the 2018 season on the books of Nkana on loan.
The 2018 MTN Super League League top scorer has been in devasting form as he helped Kalampa to a CAF Champions League place as well as the Barclays Cup.
Mbombo came to stardom at Godfrey Ucar Chitalu stadium and helped Kabwe Warriors to promotion.
He then joined Zesco United before he trekked to Saudi Arabia where he had unsuccessful spell.
The powerful striker returned to Zambia at the start of 2018 and joined Kitwe giants Nkana and scored 21 league goals.
“The deal hasn’t been completed yet,” a ZamFoot Crew insider from Khartoum.
“Mbombo has told the club that he is a free agent as his contract with Saudi Arabian club ended on 24th October.
It is not yet clear if the Congolese born striker will be available for the Barclays Cup final against Young Green Buffaloes on November 12 at Heroes Stadium.
With Mbombo on his way out, Nkana might suffer a striker crisis.
Mbombo’ s best friend and Nkana captain Bwalya Binene is believed to have told the club that he wants to move and is rumoured with joining Zesco United.
Though Walter had an average season, the Lubumbashi is still highly rated thanks to the 24 league goals be scored in the 2016 MTN Super League.
With Chris Mugalu on the market, Nkana might go head to head with both Zesco United and Zanaco for the 2017 MTN Super League top scorer. Mugalu scored 20 goals last year.
Wooow, look at cash in brown envelop on table. Africa with cash??
In which country is Al Hilal?

Orando pirates outclassed keizer chiefs in a match justin shonga failed to convert a pernalt. Shonga was involved in all goals scored by orando pirates
with an envelope like that on the table I wont be surprised if in the next day or two some club will claim he is still registered to them…..just so that they can also cash in.
I wonder why these guys can’t play for Congo DRC..Walter Bwalya,Mugalu,Mbombo,Apanane the list is endless these are quality players .I watched Congo being outclassed by Zimbabwe you can’t tell me Mbombo and Mugalu can fail to shine in those games??
The Zambian league is more competitive than the Congolese league who can only boast of two teams like Mazembe and Vita,if these two played in our league they would be exposed in terms of there quality
