Nkwazi coach Dennis Makinka was left disappointed after a 2-0 home defeat to Nkana in a Zambian Super League match on Saturday.
First half goals from Jacob Ngulube and Alex ‘Bazo’ Ngulube earned Kalampa their 4th victory in the last 5 matches.
“It’s very disappointing, We spoke with the boys and knew how Nkana would play but it was a bad day at the office,” Makinka said
“We started well in the first ten minutes but I think we became careless and gave away those goals,” he added.
On the Water logged pitch, Makinka said: It was very difficult for us knowing the type of football we play, We like to play a passing game. The pitch was water logged and unplayable especially in the second half hence it was very difficult for us.”
Despite picking up just 3 points from the last 21 available points, Nkwazi are 8th on the log with 25 points.
Leaders Red Arrows are 33 points. Green Eagles, Nkana and Green Buffaloes complete the top four.
Indeni, Lusaka Dynamos, Chambishi and Konkola Blades are in the drop zone.
