Super League side, Chambishi Football Club have appointed Lewingtone Mujembe as head coach with immediate effect as earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew.
Mujembe has penned a two year performance based contract.
Mujembe has been in charge of the Copperbelt based club since October 26 on an interim basis after Kaunda Simonda was fired diplomatically by being sent on administrative leave.
“Chambishi Football Club Executive has with immediate effect appointed Mr. Lewingtone Mujembe as head coach on a two year performance based contract.
The EXCO has wished the new coach all the best and has pledged to give him maximum support as he takes up the new role.”
He recorded six wins, two losses and a draw in his nine games in charge.
Chambishi are currently 11th on the log with 23 points after 18 games and just four points adrift of Red Arrows in 4th place.
