Lawrence Chungu and Dennis Dauda join NAPSA Stars
Zambia Super League side, NAPSA Stars has confirmed the acquisition of two new players namely Lawrence Chungu and Dennis Dauda. The Pensioners confirmed the development in a press statement by Media Officer Gwen Mulundu Chipasula which was made available to the ZamFoot Crew.
Chungu who is a former Power Dynamos, Buildcon, and Sensational Zanaco player has penned a two-year deal while the Zimbabwean lanky defender, Dauda has penned a three-year deal.
“NAPSA Stars Football Club is delighted to announce the acquisition of two new players to strengthen its squad ahead of Confederations of African Football Competitions and the 2020/2021 season. The club has engaged the services of defenders Lawrence Chungu and Dennis Dauda who were plying their trade at Zanaco FC and Lusaka Dynamos FC respectively.
Chungu has signed a two-year permanent deal with Napsa Stars, while Dauda joins on a three-year permanent deal.”
NAPSA Stars Board Chairperson Dr. Greg Nsofu believes the duo will fit in well in the Pensioners set up and will help the team in their quest to win the 2020/2021 Super League season.
“On behalf of the Board and Management of Napsa Stars FC, I am delighted to welcome our new acquisitions and I am with no doubt that they will fit in well and help the club achieve its goals of contesting for the league title in the coming season, as well as help in our Continental participation,” he said.
The addition of the duo means NAPSA Stars have now acquired four new players following the earlier arrivals of midfielder Jacob Ngulube and Kenyan striker Timothy Otieno.
