Copper Queens star forward Rachel Kundananji scored a hat-trick to help Madrid CFF comeback from 2-0 down to beat Alhama 6-2.
Kundananji scored two late goals in the 90th minute and additional time to add to her equalising goal in the 66th minute.
Alhama went ahead thanks to first half goals from Daniela Arques Lazaro and Astrid Alvarez.
But a hat-trick from the Zambian international, a brace from Gabi Nunez and a goal from Aida Esteve Quintero overturned the result 6-2 in favour of Madrid.
Copper Queens’ vice captain Grace Chanda put in a full shift.
Kundananji now moves to 22 league goals for the season, two behind leader, Alba Maria Redondo Ferrer of Levante.
Madrid CFF are currently 5th in the Spanish Liga F with 50 points.
In China, Copper Queens forward Barbra Banda scored a goal and set up two as Shanghai Shengli eased past Beijing Beikong 5-0 in a China Taiping Women’s Super League round 8 encounter.
Banda leads the top goalscorers chart with 9 goals.
Shanghai Shengli are second on the log with 22 points tied with Wuhan Jiangda who have a better goal difference.
