Katete United send head coach and assistant on administrative leave

Katete United who are campaigning in the FAZ provincial division one Eastern region has sent their head coach Ezekiel Siamalombo and his assistant Mathias Phiri on administrative leave on divided opinions.

Katete United is a community team and it is sponsored by the katete district council. It didn’t go well with the locals when the coach opted against playing names to play discipline and form. The team has been at the center of talk in the recent pasts when old players at the club popularly called veterans stopped turning up for training and match days after the coach thought it wise to use young players blended with old ones a thing which the locals got unimpressed with and a thing which has also affected the teams’ performance as the team have recorded two wins, three draws, and four losses and are languishing on 12th position.

It took some executive members to sit down and find the lasting solution of which to them sending the coach on forced leave with the immediate effect being the best option.
