Kalampa striker Walter Bwalya in North Africa to complete move

Nkana striker Walter Bwalya has arrived in Algeria ahead of his move to USM Algiers.

The Congolese forward is expected to complete his move in the next 48 hours pending medicals.

The player has already agreed personal terms with the North African club.

USM Algiers is expected to pay Nkana around $150, 000 as transfer fee.

The 25 year old striker arrived at Pa Chilata from Forest Rangers in July 2015, and the 2016 saw him hit incredible 24 goals to top the goal scoring charts.

Though he was a highly sought after striker on the continent, the man from Lubumbashi showed loyalty and stayed in Wusakakile.

Despite missing one-third of the 2017 season due to administrative issues that involved his registration owing to his nationality, he still managed to score 12 goals.

It is believed, the powerful striker felt outdone with that treatment and opted to pursue a North African job.

With the Congolese in North Africa, Kalampa now has Sate Sate Kampamba and Bornwell Mwape as their only senior strikers.

It is not clear whether Mushili Chanda has his contract renewed after it expired last month.

Mushili spent last season on loan at Lumwana Radiants.

Kalampa were flirting with the ideal of signing Fwayo Tembo but reports indicate that the nomadic winger will stay at Lusaka Dynamos.
