Justin Shonga remains suspended as Lorch’s suspension is lifted
Zambian striker Justin Shonga remains suspended at Orlando Pirates following a breach of the Buccaneers tea protocols for the BSE bubble.
Shonga was excluded from the Orlando Pirates squad that reported for the bio-bubble a week ago together with Tembikosi Lorch after they breached the Buccaneers team protocols.
The club confirmed in a press statement that Shonga remains suspended as he awaits the finalization of the disciplinary proceedings against him.
His partner in crime Thembinkosi Lorch has however been cleared to return to the squad following the finalization of the disciplinary proceedings against him and the lifting of his suspension by the Club.
Lorch has since joined the Sea Robbers squad in the BSE Bubble after undergoing his two COVID-19 tests as per the protocols.
“Lorch has pleaded guilty to all charges that were brought against him by the Club. Lorch further apologized for his misdemeanor and has accepted the sanction imposed on him by the Club.”
Meanwhile, the Club can confirm that Justin Shonga remains suspended as he awaits the finalization of the disciplinary proceedings against him.
