Injury rules Sate-Sate out of Buildcon clash
Twelve Times Nkana football club will be without star striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba for this Saturday’s top of the bill encounter against Buildcon football team scheduled for the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Kampamba picked up the injury during the week one game against the army side Green Buffaloes after he collided with the opposing goalkeeper Prince Bwalya.
“Kampamba is still on rehabilitation, there is still a pain in the triceps and he will only return to full training on Monday next week. Both the physio trainer Mehu Vaniya and stand-in coach Manfred Chabinga confirmed the news in an interview with the club’s official website.
Nkana has however been boosted by the return of striker Fred Soutra Tshimenga and defender Collins Mulenga who both missed the opening game with injuries.
Head Coach Beston Chambeshi is expected to join the team on Thursday alongside U23 players Moses Nyondo and Harrison Chisala.
Other players expected to join training on Thursday are Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba, Gift Zulu, Laison Thole and goalkeeper Allan Chibwe who are all training with the CHAN national team in Lusaka.
