I have a chance to prove myself this Saturday – Charles Zulu
Sensational Zanaco winger Charles Zulu has expressed happiness with his recent national team call-up.
Chipolopolo stand-in coach Aggrey Chiyangi yesterday named Zulu in his 24 man squad that will play eSwatini on Saturday at Heroes Stadium in the CHAN final round second leg qualifier.
“I am excited to be back in the team, this is what I wanted after being injured for a long time,” Zulu told Zanaco official website in an interview.
“I have a chance to prove myself this Saturday and I will do my best that I can become a regular in the national team.”
Charles Zulu’s last national team call-up was in September 2018. Unfortunately, he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear before he could get a chance to feature in the team which was to face Mozambique on 18th November for the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers the second leg.
