How about the EPL- Patson Daka could be heading to West Ham

English Premier League side, West Ham United now the favorites to land Zambia national team striker Patson Daka after a stellar season in Austria, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

Back in January, the East London outfit was originally linked to the 22-year-old following the departure of Sebastien Haller, who departed for Ajax in a £20m deal.

David Moyes is reportedly keen on securing the services of the Chipolopolo Boys star forward who was excused from the Copper Bullets June assignments to concentrate on working on his possible move away from the Redbull Arena.

The Zambian forward could cost the Hammers in the region of £25m. West Ham’s qualification to the UEFA Europa league could be another reason that may help lure the young hotshot who has a lot of offers on the table.

Meanwhile Salzburg’s sister club RB Leipzig is interested in signing the pacy former Power Dynamos striker in the summer and is reportedly prepared to offer him a five-year deal.

Daka has also attracted interest from a handful of other Premier League clubs with Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal all in the hunt to sign Austrian Bundesliga top scorer.

The Zambia international has a contract with the Austrian club until 2024.

The  CAF 2007 Young Player of the Year has managed to bang in 34 goals and provided 12 assists in 42 appearances in all competitions for Salzburg helping them to a league and cup double.

Should he join the hammers, the Kafue native join the likes of Emmanuel Mayuka and Collins Mbesuma to feature the English Premier League. Mayuka and Mbesuma had spells at Southampton and Portsmouth .

In the 60s, Fred Mwila Snr and Emment Kapemgwe signed for Aston Villa.

    Keeping our fingers crossed. West Ham would be a good team for him to develop and not rushed to any of the “Big 4” English clubs. Leipzig also will let him grow.

    He will struggle because westham is more of a defensive side than attacking.I would prefer Arsenal or Tottiham
