Green Eagles captain optimistic ahead of Agadir showdown
Zambian Premier League outfit Green Eagles Football Club will tomorrow the 3rd of November play Hassania Agadir of Morocco in the CAF Confederation Cup Second Leg.
Green Eagles who dropped from the CAF Champions League to the CAF Confederation Cup drew one All in the First Leg at Nkolama Stadium in Lusaka.
Ceaser Hakaluba the Green Eagles Captain believes that HUSA is beatable provided that Eagles score early goals to ease the pressure on the team.
“We have to Score early so that the pressure will be on them because they are playing at home us what we need is Just to score early so that we unsettle them, we are here to win,” he said.
“They are a good Side but they are beatable it’s unfortunate that we gave away three points we could have won with more goal, we missed a lot of chances but we are perfecting our Scoring tactics so that we win.”
Hakaluba has promised the Fans back home that history will not repeat itself as the team has failed to progress past the Pre-group Stage.
“Looking at the previous games we have learned a lesson in a hard way and we wouldn’t want this Chance to pass us by, So we are working extra hard so that this time we go into the Group Stages,” He said.
“what I can promise our fans is will work extra hard we won’t disappoint them but to win the game and qualify for the group stages.
Agadir in Morocco will Host the Second Leg with the winner between these two will qualify for the Group Stage of the Competition.
