FORMER NKANA CEO HEADING TO WARRIORS
Former Nkana Chief Executive Officer Charles Chakatazya will be joining rivals Kabwe Warriors, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Chakatazya has officially left the 13 times Zambian Super League Champions after his contracted was not renewed.
According to a ZamFoot Crew source at the Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu Stadium, Chakatazya’s deal is set to be announced next week.
“Yes, it’s true Charles [Chakatazya] is coming to Warriors. It will be a good addition with his experience,” a ZamFoot Crew said from Kabwe on Friday.
“It’s a big signing for us. Remember he won Nkana the league.
Chakatazya started as a team manager at Nkana before he was elevated to the CEO position.
Under his leadership, he guided Kalampa to their 13th league title.
Kalampa will be looking to turn the tables this weekend as they host struggling Zanaco in Kitwe.
The Zambian Champions will be without head coach Manfred Chabinga who will begin his three match ban after he was sent off in that 5 nil demolishing by Green Buffaloes in midweek.
