Former City of Lusaka coach eye Zambia upset

Lesotho coach Veselin Jelusic says they will target an upset when they face Zambia in the back-to-back Ivory Coast Africa Cup of Nations fixtures in March this year.

Jelusic said he is aware of the Chipolopolo strength and will leave no stone unturned. He said he has a lot of respect for Zambia, who are the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations  champions.

The Serbian coach was in charge of second tier Zambian side City of Lusaka recently

“I have the deepest respect for Zambian football because of the results that Zambia has achieved in the past and the talent of the Zambian players that I have personally seen,” the former City of Lusaka boss said.

“Considering the quality and international experience of the players who play for the national team.

The Lesotho match will be Avram Grant’s first games in charge.

The Israeli is set to unveil his squad next week for local camp.
