Five clubs show interest in Edward Tembo
The Zesco United midfielder may be on his way out as he has been linked with a move away from Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, The ZamFoot Crew understands.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that five clubs have shown interest in acquiring the services of the 23-year-old either on loan or a permanent deal.
With his contract at Zesco United set to come to an end next year January 31st, The Ndola giants will have to act fast on whether they want him to stick around beyond 2021 or lose possibly as a free agent.
Tembo has not had a lot of game time since joining Zesco United. George Lwandamina seems to prefer the old guard in Kondwani Mtonga and Misheck Chaila to the 2017 U-20 AFCON winner.
Tembo was among the top ten most impressive players in the Zambia Super League when he featured for City of Lusaka and was nominated for young player of the year. He was also the youngest captain in the league at just 20 years.
It is however not clear whether Zesco United is going to release the young midfielder just yet but they will need to make up their minds fast given the fact that clubs have already started circling.
