News Monze Swallows Football Club Manager Fewdays Musonda has parted ways with his employers ( Swallows) on mutual grounds.
Musonda who has been at the helm of Swallows since February this year agreed to live the club which desperately needs to fight relegation.
Musonda who has a rich coaching CV both local and international to his belt, has run his race with the southern province based side in a turbulent way.
” He is a very good coach, he did all that was asked of him but it was not enough may be issues to do with Finances made his work quiet difficult under the circumstances. We truly appreciate his services as he put the team first ahead of his personal interests. in short he had to die with the team, for that we shall ever remain great ful to him. Said the General secretary.
” A lot of things where brought forward in the meeting last night ( Sunday) Finances, team performance among others and in moving forward both parties agreed to part ways mutually. it’s on record the team hasn’t been doing well and we need to find a quick solution to save the team from relegation.
The executive appreciate the cordial atmosphere and maturity that prevailed during our meeting.
The Justin Ngosa led executive and Mr.Musonda made huge sacrifices to enable the club compete favourably in the elite league under extreme difficulty circumstances and we hope that they shall be light at the end of the tunnel for Swallows.
We wish Fewday Musonda all the very Best in his coaching career.
Club General Secretary Nicholas Moomba says the club will soon name a new coach but before then Musonda’s former assistants( Erick Njobvu and Mwala Hachuma) have been retained in the interim capacity .

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Always not the best news to hear when a coach leaves the club. With clubs like these finances are critical because even their gate takings can’t be all that good, Monze being a small town and not every Monzean is a football fan willing to spend his had earned Kwacha watching the game.
I really don’t see any sense in relieving him of his duties. What have these same officials done to help the team financially? Is the next coach going to work under the same conditions? Anyhow, looks like Fewdays had only a few days left on his contract with Swallows. However, I would like to advise any Coach worth his CV not to take up this job looking at the current scenario at swallows.
