Felix Bulaya on the verge of joining Red Arrows

Nakambala Leopards winger Felix Bulaya is currently training with Zambia airforce sponsored side Red Arrows, the Midfielder has been training with Red Arrows for some time now and the ZamFoot Crew understands that he is close to sealing a move to Lusaka.

Bulaya has been on the books of the Mazabuka based side for 4 years. Bulaya was brought to Nakambala Leopards by former Chipolopolo boss Patrick Phiri who so potential in the youngster.

Felix was tagged ‘School Boy International’ as he was still in high school while playing Super League football with the sweet boys.

Bulaya told the ZamFoot Crew that he is happy with the way both teams have played their roles in the ongoing negotiations for his services.

“Am happy with the way Nakambala has participated in these negotiations especially that I still have a running contract with them and they gave me full permission to train with Red Arrows until a final agreement is made. Nakambala is my team, It introduced me to the super league and helped me earn this name I have currently. I am very positive about being a good ambassador of the club even if am likely not to be with them anymore,” Bulaya said.

Bulaya scored his debut goal in the MTN FAZ Super League in 2016 against Forest Rangers at Levy Mwanawasa against his former boss Patrick Phiri a game which saw the sweetboys emerge victorious away from home.

Bulaya won the hearts of fans in Mazabuka with his playing style, ability to score from long range, and his pace which allows him to beat any defender coming his way. Bulaya took no time in earning a place in the team playing either on the left or right-wing depending on the tactical strategy by the coach.

Red Arrows will kick start the new season without influential midfielder Bruce Musakanya who Joined Zesco United on a season-long loan deal. Felix may not be a direct replacement for Musakanya but will surely offer Chisi Mbewe options to fill the hole left in by Bruce.
