FAZ WOMEN’S LEAGUE : pre-season Friendly Update

Kitwe Girls Academy Vs Indeni Roses.
Date: 12th October 2019
Venue: St. Marceline Grounds, Kitwe.
Kick-Off: 15.00hrs

Football Association of Zambia(FAZ) Women’s League 2019 Copperbelt Region Champions Indeni Roses will this afternoon travel to St. Marceline Grounds in Kitwe to lock horns with Kitwe Girls Academy who are bubbling with confidence and are Optimistic of beating the Roses who have had a great run in 2019 under the hospices of Coach Benson Chambeshi and Robson Simukonde.

The Roses are a force to be reckoned and Kitwe Girls who are known as the Stubborn Girls should be ready for this match and prove they are not a pushover team especially that they will be playing in front of their home supporters.

Albertina Mwale is likely to start in goal ahead of Memory Chansa for the Stubborn Girls and ensure that she keeps a Clean sheet hoping that her defense line Marshalled by the likes of Precious Chilufya, Jane Phiri, Melody Bwanga and Rechael Nalwimba don’t allow the Quick feet Theresa Chewe, Mwaka Mupeta and Esther Mushota to find the back of the net for the Roses.

Natasha Mulenga could partner Eunice Chiboleka in the midfield alongside the creative Gift Mwanza in ensuring that Rose’s supply line is cut.

Regina Kabwita who is the captain of the side could lead the Frontline alongside Tabo Miselo, Faith Muma fondly known as Kid-Cash together with Leah Mwila who is the youngest player and a Marvel to watch with so much talent and going forward could be another star for the Zambia Women’s Team.

On the other hand, it’s going to be a tight call between Annie Namonje and Catherine Musonda in terms of who starts ahead of the other in goal for Indeni.

Grace Zulu the skipper of the side could lead the defense line alongside
Grace Nanyinza, Thelma Phiri or Mwaka Namwila could be at the heart of the defense and Jackeline Nkole on the left-back.

Experienced Rhoda Chileshe will lead the midfield alongside Serah Moyo, the Strong Esther Mukwasa and speedy Theresa Chewe on the wings while Mwaka Mupeta and Esther Mushota are expected to score goals upfront.

In the previous meeting between these two sides, The Ndola based Outfit Triumphed 9-Nil at home and went on to win 4-nil away at St. Marceline Grounds but the Coach Kabamba Malemba side will have all to play for and try to redeem themselves in a match they have declared ready.
